MY DYING BRIDE Confirmed For UK's DAMNATION FESTIVAL

July 10, 2008

Legendary UK doom metallers MY DYING BRIDE have been confirmed for the Damnation Festival 2008, set to take place Saturday, November 22 at England's Leeds University Union.

Festival director Gavin McInally said: "MY DYING BRIDE are one of the finest bands in the UK and it's a privilege to have them playing the festival this year."

Unfortunately, plans for RAGING SPEEDHORN to play at the festival have had to be scrapped after the band was offered a final tour of Japan later this year.

Gavin added: "We apologize to everyone for this cancellation but there was no way around it, it was too good an offer for RAGING SPEEDHORN to turn down and we wish them all the best out in Japan. They will be replaced by an equally heavy slab of metal, we promise!"

The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

CARCASS
MY DYING BRIDE
PITCHSHIFTER
NAPALM DEATH
SIGH
THE BERZERKER
TAINT
DESECRATION
RAMESSES
LATITUDES

Tickets for Damnation are on sale now priced at £29 (subject to booking fee).
